Privacy Policy

DealXD (“DealXD”, “we”, “us”) runs dealxd.com, a marketplace that curates discounts on software, SaaS, AI tools and financial products from third-party brands. This policy explains what information we handle when you use the site and the choices you have.

Information you give us.

• Account details: if you register, your email address and password (stored only as a secure hash), or the basic profile your Google or GitHub account shares when you sign in with them.
• Reviews: the display name, star rating, headline and comment you submit. Reviews are public and shown next to the deal.
• Newsletter: your email address, if you join the insider list.

Information collected automatically.

• Deal activity: anonymous counters of how often a deal page is viewed and how often a deal is claimed. These counters are not linked to you.
• Network data: like most websites, our servers log the IP address, browser and pages requested to keep the service running and secure. When you post a review we keep only a one-way hash of your IP address to fight spam, never the address itself.

• To run the site: show deals, publish reviews, keep you signed in and send emails you asked for.
• To keep DealXD safe: rate-limit abuse, detect spam reviews and investigate security incidents.
• To improve the catalog: understand which deals and categories are popular, using aggregate counts.
• To meet legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

Many deals are affiliate offers. When you click “Get Deal” we send you to the partner's site through a tracking link, and the partner (or its affiliate network, such as Impact, PartnerStack or CJ) may set its own cookies to attribute the referral. We may earn a commission if you buy, at no extra cost to you.

Once you leave DealXD, the partner's own privacy policy applies. We do not sell your personal information to partners or anyone else.

We keep cookies to a minimum and use only what the site needs to work:

• A session cookie that keeps signed-in users (and administrators) logged in.
• Browser storage that remembers your display preferences and which deals you have already viewed this session, so a view is counted once.

We do not use advertising cookies. You can clear cookies and site data in your browser settings at any time.

• Publicly: reviews (display name, rating and text) are visible to everyone.
• Service providers: hosting, database, email delivery and storage providers that process data on our behalf under contract.
• Legal reasons: when required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our users and DealXD.

We keep account data while your account is active, reviews until you or a moderator remove them, and server logs for a limited period needed for security and troubleshooting. Deleted reviews are removed from the site immediately and purged from backups on our regular backup cycle.

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to:

• access the personal information we hold about you, or get a copy of it;
• correct it, or ask us to delete it, including your reviews;
• object to or restrict certain processing, and unsubscribe from emails at any time.

DealXD is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
